Details of Arizona Scanning's Batch Photo Scanning Services
What Is Included in Our Service?
We include what some companies consider the "platinum" level of service as our standard service. No gimmicks here.
No gold, platinum, brass, silver or titanium at Arizona Scanning! If we segment our services you end up paying more
for the level of service you want. We simply offer one type of photo scanning service and, that is the best we know how.
As you see by our Pricing charts, we offer you the **highest quality batch scan of almost any kind of photo you send to us.
Important Note: Batch photo scanning does not produce "Archival quality" images. Arizona Scanning uses commercial high-speed batch photo
scanning equipment which simply does not produce "Archival quality" images.
We also auto crop the edges of your photos, rotate, and
perform batch color, lighting, exposure, contrast and levels
corrections on each photo group - all included in the scanning price. We record your photos onto premium Verbatim
CDs and DVDs and we use a laser to burn your labels permanently into your new Arizona Scanning CDs and DVDs.
Your first disk is free; each additional DVD is $8.95. Our burning process lets you include your
name and a title for each project to be printed on your disks, to help you stay organized. We store your photos
into folders and keep your photos in strict sequence to help you organize your digital photo collections. We don't
charge more for larger 5x7 and 8x10 photos. We don't charge more should you want TIFF images of your photos.
One price for the **highest quality batch photo scans available anywhere! Nada, none, no shortcuts taken at Arizona Scanning.
**Disclaimer: Batch photo scanning does not produce "Archival quality" images. Arizona Scanning uses commercial high-speed batch photo
scanning equipment which simply does not produce "Archival quality" images.
Who Is Working On Your Photos?
We are American made and proud of it! No overseas outsourcing of any kind done here! Our expert scanning technicians are quick
to uphold our "clean gloves charter". This means they not only wear special clean, lint free
gloves when handling your photos, but adhere to our strict internal processes for cleanliness, inspection, careful handling, and
strict organization and housekeeping. Our Graphics Department will perform batch color correction on your images using the industry standard
Abode Photoshop Elements. We perform quality control checks on all scanning orders, including at least two careful, methodical reviews
over each one of your images. Also, all of our employees are highly educated, trained artists and photographers, so they really
know how to preserve and protect your photos and, they love what they are doing.
The Scanning Equipment We Use?
Scanning prints is more difficult than it sounds. The design of all flatbed scanners makes producing high quality digital
images quickly very challenging. They produce better images than Arizona Scanning's batch photo scanners but,
flatbed scanners are slow! Clearly you can't do any kind of large volume work on a flatbed unless you're willing to invest
a tremendous amount of time and man power. When selecting the equipment
necessary to scan prints, we needed speed to keep the costs down but we also needed to produce a crisp, high quality
image. We ultimately decided that we needed a special piece of equipment designed specifically for the task of scanning prints.
Our solution wouldn't be found at Walgreens or WalMart. Our proprietary solution involves custom hardware and software
that is unique to Arizona Scanning. Since we use commercial high-speed scanners, our images are not of "Archival quality" but,
they are acceptable for digital photo frames, web sites, and photo sharing. We clean and calibrate our custom, high-speed scanners
every day and maintain them carefully with the utmost of scrutiny.
Some oversized and delicate photos can not be scanned by these
scanners and will need to be scanned on a high quality, flatbed scanner. If needed, We use our Epson flatbed scanners for these
exceptions. We do a lot of technical testing on a variety of scanners, so if we find a newer model no matter the brand that
produces superior photo scans, we'll upgrade immediately. We are not strapped or locked in by long term binding leases and,
we can react quickly to technological changes.

Shopping Around?
Shopping Around? Shopping around is a good thing! The more educated you are, the more you will know what to expect from your

processes to balance their cost to quality ratio. You should know what these are so you can select the service that
best meets your needs and your comfort level. We have most of this information available on our website. Also read our
shopping tips to see what to look out for when digitizing your images. Remember, there is a difference between low price
and value! We are a small family-owned business and our overhead is stunningly low, our photo scanning quality outrageously
